After having just liberally applied a menthol-based lotion to your extremely dry hands, do not then – under any circumstances – rub the heels of your palms into your eyeballs. It will hurt. A lot.

    Once I thought I was rubbing CortAid on my itchy, flea-bitten legs but it was very late and it turned out to be “Icy Heat” – another menthol-based lotion. It was not a good night…but compared to your eyeballs – I got off easy.

    I found you through another blog, not sure which one. Note how one’s tattered old journalism degreee-skills are still used (mostly to look up odd facts).

    I’m fine. It’s the very busy time at the Nursery – plants growing and annoyingly not growing.

    Hope you didn’t end up with red raccoon eyes from the lotion.
